: Let's weigh in on the question of whether the JSVBA should adopt the AVP/FIVB rules for the upcoming season.
: That would include Rally to 21, Short Court, Block counts as a touch, etc.
: Post Your *Real Name*, first and last, in the Reply or the JSVBA will consider it to just be someone trying to stuff the ballot box for one side of the question.
: Thanks

Sooner or later we will have to play with those rules anyway. Maybe, dea to start using them from the "A" division and up. Any lower division (Including some "A" players) I think, will have a hard time. Consistency is needed to play with these rules, definitely there is not a lot a room for mistakes. But at the same time it forces you to be better player, all around. Offensively You got to be able to pound the ball down and hit your shots when an opening presents itself, accuracy is a most. Defensively you will be able to cover better the court because is smaller which I believe it will set the pace for longer rally's, you better be in shape. These are some of the reasons, in my personal and humble opinion, IF you decided to use these NEW AVP/FIVB RULES, they should be use in the middle to higher divisions. Hurry up with that schedule Mike!LOL!! That will bring the season over soooner, I whish !!!lol.
